Christmas Day~

On Christmas Eve, I went to Gardiner and have dinner with JoJo, Cat and Janet.

We prepared a cake, a roasted chicken, a chicken cream soup, salad, some garlic bread and a bottle of red wine for our Christmas Dinner~
Everything taste great!
I really enjoy the moment! hohoho~
I called back to Hong Kong and said Merry Christmas to my family, feel so happy~!

Different from Hong Kong, shops in Oz usually close on Christmas Day. I woke up at around 11am on the Christmas Day, fill myself with some bread, hanging around and start feel boring. Well... It's time...to go for a walk... I locked the door, leave home with my slipper on, and start walking around.

No much people on the street~ Most shops closed~ Street was so silent~ Sky was so blue~ Weather was so cool...

I start to enjoy the life here. I mean, I was able to enjoy it now.
I was able to live with myself.

I feel good. :)

After walking around for an hour, I found that at least 10 shops are hiring. I think I will start to look for a job here.

When I returned home, I started to cook my dinner. I haven't cook rice for a long time ( Yes, I cooked before XD ). I added some vegetable and some ham and my dinner was ready... Well.... 60 marks... coz rice was a bit wet and the vegetable has rotten because the fridge is too cold.

For today lunch I made some fried rice with egg, ham and cron~ Well...I used 2 egg and it was too many, haha. But the taste was not bad, 70 marks la~ hoho~

During the night I talked with Sylvia, who arrived here since March, and she shared her experience with me.
She has worked for less than 6 months, and she has got enough budget for for to travel to all the place she wanna go, including New Zealand, and she was able to bring quite a lot of money back to HK. Well everyone, this cheer me up, haha . Mostly she worked in city and she said it's not easy to find a city job outside Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.
Thanks Sylvia for talking with me so long and give me so many information.

Today I visited another backpacker's blog. http://hk.myblog.yahoo.com/sheep-inOZ

After reading I found that I am still so passive, I am keeping everything away from myself. Got to have some changes. I will start to look for a job in Boxhill after my haircut.

And my plan has changed, I think I will stay in Melbourne and Sydney for a longer period, like 6-9 months, save some money, before I continue my journey. But changes always happen, so, just a roughly plan~

Hope everyone enjoy your Christmas!~ and Happy New Year!!!

Hahaha!U are such a smart guy and knowing how to use a rice-cooker older than u. Well done!!!
I suggest u to buy some vegetable & pork rib in the food market (even they need to buy a kilo at least),cook it together as a soup.
Put some salt before serving.
