Last time I said I may lost my job, but luckily, I was able to work for another 2 weeks~ I guess all new staffs will now come from First Choice, and the Skilled staff will remain in position until we left ourselves. Today, I was at home because, again, there were too less order and work. But I'll back to work on Monday. Working, working and working, it's now for a short holiday. XD
Last Sunday, Brian, Mudfew and I went to the fish market. I've heard a lot about the great food and how cheap it is, and now I'm finally there. It's Sunday so the place was filled with people~ We settled down at the outdoor area and bought some salmon, prawns, eel and a seafood basket~ The salmon was fresh! The prawns were large and sweet! The eel and the seafood basket were cold....XD The seagull were so annoying!!!!! ~ AUD70 for three of us~ Not really expensive la~ :D Not much to say, go and try yourself is the best way to understand what I mean. See if I can bring some back to Hong Kong~ hoho~
After that we went to Sydney's casino, the Star City. But Mudfew was not allowed to enter with his ID card because he was "just over 18", and he need a passport. That was fucking stupid. 18 is 18, tell us we need a passport to enter instead of giving us that unreasonable reason. We left and I need to reconsider if I am going back again.
Not much to update~ Show you all a picture of my work space. Well, yes I know it's pretty ugly...but I am not someone who can draw.....enjoy anyway... XD
The procedure can roughly divided as below:
1:) Accessories assembling - Prepare the keep case, put in the cover sheet, put the discs, close the case and insert a paper case (if any).
2:) Shrink wrap - Cover the keep case with plastic.
3:) A weight machine will check every case for any missing content, the rejected will be thrown in to a bin.
4:) Packing - My assigned position, put the DVDs into carton boxes, push into the semi-auto tape dispenser and put on the pallet. We need to change the pallet when its full or the job has finished. Toughest position compared with other but less boring. And now I'm a good pallet jack racer driver. hoho~
Last last Saturday~ Had a dinner with wfred's friend Rieko, we talked almost everything and I really enjoyed~ Can't wait to see you in HK doh~ XD
c : Yes, change is good. Hope you will change to a better working environment too.
Raymond : Come on man~ This blog is not just for Working Holiday~ Although I know no one will be interested in the IT stuff. I will put a warning before any IT post~ XD
Oi Oi : +61401343177 remember the "+" in front of the number~ hoho~~
Mandibella : The Name at the comment page is for you to type YOUR name!!!!
may gu je : WoW!!! Can't wait to see you all~ haha~ Places you may interested would be the Blue Mountains, Opera House, Habour Bridge and Jenolan Caves. Well Canberra is also a good place to visit. The Australia Dictionary is in Mei Foo~ Just give him a call and he can give you information 100times more than I can. hoho~
Thanks everyone who sang a birthday song, who said a Happy Birthday, who sent me a sms, who opened a new topic about my birthday in a cat forum, who dine out with me and who bought me a cake, I can feel the warmness from HK and AU. Appreciated! :)
Well, got to work on my birthday, so didn't went out for celebration.
The last 2 weeks went pretty well because I got enough work, finally. In the first few weeks when I was working in this company, the impression they gave me was, when you work hard to finish your work, what you have is more work. When you work harder to finish the additional work, what you have is no more work and being sent home. But now, when I really show my supervisor I tried to work hard, she started to want me to work for her. Even the whole team was sent home, I was asked to stay behind to help other team. Wohoo!
But a bad news arrived this Tuesday. As all casual staffs were not directly employed by the company but thought an agency called Skilled, and because of the company want to change to another agency, they sent all the Skilled staff away for one week on Tuesday and see hows the staffs from the other agency perform. If they are doing well, we'll have no more work. Obviously they new staff will never work better than us in a short period but if the company need to change to agency they must have evaluated the situation and able to bear an acceptable lost. The conclusion after a bunch of bull shit is , I'll lose my job. So I will try to find other job. Got a friend working in a factory which prepare food for airline, he said it's a good job, coz well paid and not tough job, I'll give it a try.
Last Saturday, Brian pick up a ticket from the building notice board, it's a family ticket to powerhouse museum which shared by other flatmate, which originally cost AU$30. So on last Sunday, me Brian and Louis went to the museum and have a look. Not as good as I imagined, we arranged 4 hours for the tour but at last we finished in 3. "The Powerhouse Museum, Australia's largest and most popular museum, is located in Darling Harbour, Sydney. Its unique and diverse collection of 385,000 objects spans history, science, technology, design, industry, decorative arts, music, transport and space exploration."- quote from "http://www.powerhousemuseum.com/about/index.asp"
The most amazing item is the jet engine of a spacecraft and a stone from the moon. There are some area which contain some science game like the Hong Kong Science Museum, but the one in HK are much more fun.
Another bad news, external harddisk dead, WD1600BEVS (160GB 5400rpm) + Magic Pro USB case.. Well....I'll say it's the problem of Magic-pro, NEVER BUY MAGIC-PRO.
Started to hate eating cereal. Started to dream a lot about HK, anyway.
btw, Brian has fall in love in to my PSP, he play even more than me now. haha~ I am devil! XD

Adam : Quite free now because I got no work. And I always work hard and play hard. Play well and play with me when I come back. hoho
Once upon a time, I've updated my blog. And it's one month ago. Sorry everyone. hoho~
First of all, I've finally visited Canberra! Special thanks to Brian coz he have been driving the whole trip. We started our trip at 7:30am, the sky was clean, and the weather was cold, it's just 11C, yeah it's pretty cold in the morning here. We bought some banana and water for our trip, nothing else. After 2 hours, we were close to Canberra, we stopped at a petrol station and have our lunch there. After that, we move on to our first stop, the Canberra Museum and Gallery. It's a pretty small place, with 3-4 exhibition's areas only. Got some art there, look great, but that's all. I don't really know how to enjoy it doh... Our next stop was the International Flag Display. It located right between the War Memorial and Parliament house. Quite amazing~ of coz there were over 80% of flag I don't know, and other 10% I had a wrong guess. +_+" Anyway, it's a great place and must-see. Next stop was the most famous Old Parliament House. It operated between 1927 and 1988. But everything inside are still so new & clean. It doesn't look like that old. We walk through the King's Hall, the two chambers, the room of the Prime Minister, the meeting room and a photo gallery displaying the world event such as Vietnam War, Gulf War, the War in Afghanistan and even the Iraq War. Then, the Parliament House, the new one. The design embedded with model design, but to be honest, the interior design in not as grand as the old one. I like the old one more. Next, the War Memorial. As per it's name, there are a lot of war-related stuff in it. This place is, so far, the most excited place I have visited in Canberra. There were real tank, cannon-shot, emplacement, guns, planes, artillery, models and of cause a lot of stories about the war which Australian involved. We spent one half hour there and we were asked to left because the place was closing. It was 5pm, we tried to take some photos for the Captain Cook Memorial Jet,"While running both pumps simultaneously the main jet throws approximately six tons of water into the air at any instant, reaching a maximum height of 147 meters." But unfortunately the jet has stopped operating when we arrive :( We took a few photos at the lake but the weather was so cold, so we decided to end our one day trip and return home.
I think we are going back to Canberra again, because we still have a few places need to visit. But a 2 days trip should be enough for tourist, cause other the attraction, it could be pretty boring.
Well, I have actually decided to leave Sydney and move to Queensland, coz I failed to find any job here for a month. On 9 May, I applied a CD/DVD packing job and telling myself if I get no reply for 3 days, I'll book the ticket to Queensland. The job doesn't require any skill so I've got a lot of competitors. But with a bit luck, he chose me! The work start at 7am every weekday morning~ And I got to wake up at 5:15am and leave before 5:35am. When we arrive the factory, we go back to the production line we worked on the previous day and start working. We have 2 break, one at 9am morning tea for 15 min, and 12nn, 30 min unpaid lunch break~ We then finish our work at 3pm.
The DVD you saw in shops were packed in the factory like us. There are 3 kind of production method, full-auto, semi-auto and manual. The DVD case you saw in the street, which a plastic case covered with plastic bag, is made with full-auto machine. Someone put the empty cases, discs and cover sheets into the machine, it will open the case, slide in the cover sheet, put in the DVD, close the case and cover with another plastic. Another worker will need to stand at the back and collect the ready-for-sell DVD. A full auto machine can handle case with 2 DVDs in one case. For those with 3-6 DVDs, or those with another paper cover, it require human involved. The machine will open the case, slide in the cover sheet, and the opened case will send to the belt. Someone will put in the disc, usually one worker one disc. The leaflet you saw inside the case are also put in by hand. After that, someone need to close the case. The DVD will move to another machine to put another plastic cover and it's finish~ Some limited edition DVD set, or with special design which cannot be done by machine, will all be done by hand. A Full auto machine can produce 1200 units per hour, 800 units for semi-auto one, and 400 units for full manual. I usually worked in the full manual way~ And well it's a pretty boring job. I may putting in a DVD into a paper case, this 3 second job will be repeated for hours. But well, it's fine for me. Budding is a damn boring job but I have been doing it for 3 months. The production line I work is not the main one. So some stupid jobs like inspection (open 5000 DVD case, check if the disc exist, and close the case) and replace outdated cover sheet will assigned to our line. It's good because it's not that boring, but the problem is, we may have not enough work. On average I worked for 4 days a week only. Well it's not as much as I expected but I could still save money here because of Brian. Thanks man. XD The supervisor working there, well, most of them are asshole. Keep shouting, fxxking us, expect someone worked for 3 mins can work as fast as someone worked for 3 years. But anyway, I could handle this well coz in SPHK there were more assholes.
I think I will work till Aug, travel between Sep and Oct, and back to work on Nov. As the moment before Christmas will be the peak season of the factory, it will operated 7 days a week and I could work and bring some money back to HK. hoho~
The other thing I wanna talk about is the Sichuan earthquake, well actually is earthquake prediction. After the Sichuan earthquake I have surf through wiki, and found something interesting. The earthquake is still not predictable under current technology. But there were actually some aura before the quake. Earthquake light - The lights are most evident in the middle period of an earthquake, although there are reports of lights that occurred after or even before the earthquake..... ( Source : Earthquake Light - Wikipedia)
Peru Terremoto Sismo de 7.9
Pay attention on the 8th-11th second of the movie.
In this video, I'm not sure if the earthquake light appear before, on or after the earthquake, but it did appeared. And the light was slightly different from bolt and explosion. There are earthquake light since 373 BC, study Earthquake Light - Wikipedia for more detail.
Earthquake cloud 10 mins before the 2008 Sichuan earthquake in China
30 mins before the 2008 Sichuan earthquake in China
5月11日の飛行機から見えた広島上空の地震雲? Attention on 1:05, abnormal cloud appeared 1 day before the earthquake in the sky of Japan.
A little bit more information about earthquake prediction of the Sichuan earthquake: * In 2002, a study by Chen Xuezhong published in the Chinese seismology journal Recent Developments in World Seismology (国际地震动态) reported that starting 2003 there is a high probability of an M≥7 earthquake in Sichuan Province. "Sichuan is virtually certain to experience an earthquake measuring above 7 in the next few years" he wrote.
* In 2006, a study published in the Chinese Journal of Catastrophology (灾害学) reported that the Sichuan-Yunnan region may experience a M≥6.7 earthquake in 2008.
* The journal Tectonics published a thesis in July 2007, stating that the risk of a serious earthquake was imminent.
* On April 26, nearly 80,000 m3 of water that once filled the Guanyin pond of Baiguo township of Enshi City, Hubei province sank underground with a rumbling sound. Changes in the underground waterflow usually indicate changed seismic conditions.
* On May 9, an anonymous user posted a thread on the popular Baidu Forums stating that earthquake clouds were observed in Linyi, Shandong (more than 1400 km away from the epicenter), and wondered if an M≥6.0 were to occur in the next few days; this was later confirmed by a user from Tongzhou District in Beijing.
* On May 10, residents of Tanmu village of Southwest town of Mianzhu, Sichuan (less than 100 km from the epicentre) observed hundreds of thousands of toads migrating on a roadway near a pharmaceutical factory.[citation needed] "The move is because of the change of weather," Shu Shi, director of the Mianzhu forestry bureau, was quoted as saying by local media.[citation needed] A similar phenomenon was observed a day earlier in Taizhou, Jiangsu.
* On May 12, sightings of unusually colorful and luminous cloud formations in two cities of nearby provinces more than 400km north east of the epicenter, each at 32 and 10 minutes before the earthquake, were filmed and photographed. These clouds exhibit luminous characteristics akin to auroras and sundogs (rainbow-like phenomena in cirrus or other high clouds). The earthquake was also felt at the location of the photographer, and the mobile phone signal was cut off for a while. There are many hypotheses for the cause of these earthquake clouds and lights. Of note, Dazhou's natural gas fields have been greatly being harvested by China Petrochemical Corporation and PetroChina. The audio comment of the video was that it looked like sun-light deflection. Some Buddist believe that it is a sign from Guan Yin, as it happened on Buddha's Birthday/Vesak.[citation needed]
* On May 13, in a press conference held by the State Council Information Office, the spokesperson restated that earthquake forecasting is a "World problem", and that no prediction notification was received before the earthquake. The only case in the last 100 years that an earthquake was successfully predicted by an official department was the Haicheng earthquake in 1975 by the China State Seismological Bureau.
Well, the above aura are not accepted by seismologists and scientists. But if you are traveling to any country which is in the seismic zone, and you saw something abnormal like the above, you better stay outdoor and have a walk. Although nothing may happen, but a walk outside isn't that bad.....except winter.... XD And I believe earthquake is predictable, it's just a matter of time.
Well, that's all for today. Tell you guys something, sometimes I wanna come back to HK, because I really miss everything, my family, my friends, my home, my room, every places in Hong Kong. But I got to stay here half more year. Yes. Half more year only, and I'll be back. Can't wait to see you all. Take care everyone.
Arrived Sydney for few weeks already, honestly I had do nothing, yes, nothing at all. Staying in Brian's house, playing computer games everyday, even too lazy to walk around. Of coz, bad weather was an excuse but it's not good enough. It's time to finish this decadent life. I need to move on my trip. I need to start earning money. I need to go to Whitsundays! Fraser Island! Safari! Surfing!! New Zealand!!! Uh-Hooo!!!
So am I leaving now? No, not yet. I have dated my uncle, Uncle Stephen, to have dinner on the coming Friday. He works here and will ask him if he need any temporary staff. If yes, I'm gonna stay in Sydney for a while. If No, I'm going up to Brisbane. I hope I could find a well paid job over there. One of my friend Iris, she is now working in a farm, 10 hours a day, 7 days a week. Pretty tough but earning $800 a week at least, wow~ Hope there is vacancy if I go there~ :p
Another trip will be going to Alice Spring in the coming June. 5 days trip with Maick and his friend. They have booked the trip already, I'm going to do it this week. The outback is going to be cold at night~ I hope I can survive~ hoho~
Well, I'm not really staying at home everyday.
On 5 Apr I've visited the Taronga Zoo with Uncle Thomas, Mathew and his classmate Kenneth. It simply a Zoo, with many different kinds of animal. From the size as small as rabbit to as tall as giraffe, from the most ferocious tiger to the most laziest koala, you can find them all in the Zoo. A one day trip is enough for the Zoo, but it close at 5 pm so you need to start early.
6 Apr, football with Matthew and Kenneth. Hurt the damn left knee again. Go home with pain and disappointed. Don't know when will my knee totally recover, probably never. Don't know if I can play football and badminton again without any concern... sigh.....~~
7 Apr, went to Hunter Valley with Linda, another WHV friend. Tasted some wine. It's my first time I tried such a GOOD red wine. It's taste really good, I don't really know how to describe, but when you drink, 唔"澀", that's it. haha. Didn't buy any coz I won't drink at home and it's probably a burden in my trip. After lunch we went to see the dolphin, it's first time I saw wild dolphin! We can only see them when they come up and breath, it take just around 2 seconds and after that they will dive into the water. This make taking a photo extremely difficult. Almost half of my picture have been deleted because there were nothing inside except water. What you see in the album are the one filtered and taken with some luck. Enjoy.
13 Apr, went to war game with Edward, my primary classmate. We've lost contact for almost 10 years but thanks to facebook, we reunion. The war game here use paint ball, a plastic ball with ink inside, the plastic ball will burst when it hit something and the ink will splash around your clothes and mask. In the almost end of the game, you'll see the "blood" splash over everyone mask and clothes, haha. My damn leg was hurt before so I can't enjoy it. But the game was still great! and expensive, duh!
Bought a haircut kit with $15, and cut my hair myself. Well...I think I will find someone to cut it for me next time. Coz it doesn't look good. XD
That's all, yes for 2 weeks. Will let you guys know when my plan confirmed. Take care everyone. I miss you all.
Wow~ Laziness has overcome me again~ Sorry guys~ :p
2 days after GrandPrix, I have joined a tour to the Grampians, a place which is inside the champaign. The tour was a small one, which like 20 people only. The weather was great, cool and dry, and no rain! We departs on 8:15am and took about 1 half hour to Beaufort. We have our morning tea over there. It's just some tea/coffee and biscuit but it really wake me up~ Another 45 min. drive brought us to Brambuk Living Cultural Center. It's the first time I saw a wild kangaroo! We walked around and we found few groups of them. They don't really afraid of human and we could get pretty close. We spent one hour there and we move inside the Cultural Center. Inside there was history about this place, like something about aborigines use (man-made) fire to control (natural) fire. After that, we went to Halls Gap and have our lunch break there. I've bought a Sushi lunch box from city and brought there for lunch. But it's not really enough so I bought some Ice Cream too. hoho~ After lunch, we went to the MacKenzie Falls. It's actually a waterfall which deep under the valley. It's took us around half hour to walk to the bottom part. It's pretty big but there was not much rain recently so the water wasn't that much. Our next stop was the high light of this tour, The Jaws of Death. It's named like this because it looks like animals jaws. The place is very nice, a piece of land which you can't see the end~ The Jaws is a rock extended from the mountain which is hard enough to prevent corrode. I walked above the jaw, which was actually quite scary, and took a photo on it. When I looked down it's so deeeeeep from the place I stand, so I went back to the stand after the photo. After that we returned to bus and started our 3 hours journey back to the city. What a great experience!
The next day I visited Melbourne Aquarium. It's not really big actually but the BIG bowl underneath has surprised me. When you enter the lowest level of the aquarium, you're actually at the middle of the circle. Outside the circle filled with water and many many kind of fish. The level is about 3m high, and you're just surrounded by fishes~ Cool!
On Friday, I was in a tour to Philip Island, yes, to see the penguin finslly. The tour departed at 1:30pm. The first stop was Warrook Farm. The farm divided a small part of space, put some ducks, gooses and kangaroos inside, and let us go in to feed them. The place where wombats should stay in was filled by chickens. Feel like a place which cheat tourist money. Anyway, it's still a good place because I could get close to a kangaroo and feed it. The next stop is Koala Conservation Center. We pass through the entrance, and arrived a place where bridges have been built across the road. That's for us to get closer to the upper part of the tree and have a more closer view to the Koala. And it's really really close because the koala sometime walked on the handrail, haha. It's so close that you can touch it. But everyone there were so self-disciplined, they just walked with the koala without disturbing it. After that we stopped at a town for dinner, and continue our trip to Philip Island. As the Little Penguin usually return after sunset, it's too early to go to the Penguin Parade. So the tour guide drove us around the island and take a look on the penguin nest burrow. Sometime you could see the baby Little Penguin attracted by the noise and look outside. They were really cute! >o<" At last, we arrived the Penguin Parade. Photo was not allowed because flash may hurt the penguin's eyes. At first, we wait at the beach for the penguin's return. They will wait until they think they're safe before they come up. Once it's dark enough, they'll start coming out from the water, wait for other penguins and come up as group. When they few unsafe, they'll rush back into water and wait again, and it's really funny when they run, because they were so small and their leg are so so so short, haha~ Once they think they were safe again, they will walk back to their nest in group. Their are path built for us to see them returning their base, and it's built along the the penguin's path, so there were a lot of chances to see them. It was cold, but it's worth to stay because the penguin are really so cute. hoho~
Saturday night, we went to Eureka Skydeck. It's the world's tallest residential building, with 300m high 92 levels. The skydeck located at level 88, the elevator took 40 seconds to reach the level, more than 2 floors per second! It's very fast!! The view, of cause, was unbeatable. Because there were not much building in Melbourne able to give you this view. We started to go around the floor and keep taking photos. But the windows were quite dirty so the picture were always not clear -.-" And inside the floor there were a lot of spot light which always reflected by the windows, it makes taking photo a hard job. But luckily we could still get a few good shots. There were 2 highlights in the Skydeck, the first one was an open area on level 88, it's very cold and windy but it's a good place to get rid of the dirty window, haha. The second one was called the edge, "'The Edge' - a glass cube which projects 3 meters out from the building - with you in it - suspended almost 300 meters above the ground!". I've got a free coupon for going into The Edge, but I'm fear of height so I gave it to my friend~ I don't want to get crazy inside the cube and being driving out of the building. XD Well...I'll get better after the sky dive! :p
Not much to do on Sunday, got up early because need to check out at 10am. Hanging around in the library, say good bye and gave a great hug to my friends, get back to hostel, and started my journey to Sydney. I went there by Firefly, an intercity coach service provider. The coach depart at 7pm. The driver was pretty funny because when he introduce himself, he said, "My name is.....Andrew..... You can call me.......Andrew....well or the driver.... " ha.... A short meal break on 11pm at Albury, and I fell asleep after it. Can't expect too much on a bus, but I still sleep pretty well. Arrived Sydney Central Station at 7am, it's a bit worn than Melbourne Southern Cross station, but it's another style~ Have a little breakfast in Hungry Jack and move on to Brain's house.
Last Thursday, Uncle Thomas and Matthew arrived Sydney. It's so good to see them. We went to the Harbor Bridge and Darling Harbor this Tuesday. Matthew has started his uni orientation on Wednesday. And we are going to the Taronga Zoo tomorrow~!
I've also met another 2 HK friends here in Sydney~ They are Iris and Iris....oops... Iris Ng and Iris Wong. They have been working in the Easter Show for 2 weeks and special thanks to Iris Wong because she brought me a free ticket for the Easter Show (Originally cost $30..@@). The show was actually a farming exhibition but there were many games around so there were also many young people. We spent a day there, watching shows, cars, bulls & pigs. ha.. Iris brought me a lot of food and drink from the place she worked so I didn't spent much money in there. XD The last firework show was the best firework show I've ever seen. It's not as money-burning as the one in HK, it's not as large as the one in Melbourne, but the music plus the laser and the firework really makes me feel EXCITING! To reciprocate Iris's best arrangement, I feast her onto the Ferris Wheel~ wow~ What a great day!
Being lazy for too long, got to start looking for a job. But there are a few place that I've planned to visit...so..... find a job on another day! Yu-Hooo!!!
Special thanks Brain to allow me to stay in his home :D Also need to thanks dad and mom and sis to help me bought so many stuff. And thanks Uncle Thomas to bringing them here.
Moomba Waterfest Carnival - It's just like the AIA Carnival in Causeway Bay. Expensive and most games are for kid. Emi, with a bit of luck, won a large Devil in one of the game~ haha~ But to be honest, the devil is probably a burden when she travel around~ XD
IMAX - I haven't been to the IMAX in HK, so I visited the IMAX in Melbourne last Tuesday night. I watched a movie named Beowulf, it's (again) about a hero killing monsters. There were only less than 10 people watching with me because the movie was already half year old~ The story was good~ and the 3D effect was amazing! The concession ticket is just $16.5, Yes, I got a Victoria University student card, hoho~
Old Melbourne Goal - On Wednesday I went to the first prison in Melbourne. I spent $14 to join the tour (Concession of course). The officer (tour guide) treat us as criminal (of coz with fun) and we actually walk through the whole process of a criminal going into jail. It's a great tour but the tour guide just speak too much. After the tour I went to another building which is actually the cells where the prisoners were locked in. It's not big, 3 floor with like 30 cells each floor. They put the history of some infamous criminals into the cell. There was also a place which was use to execute the criminal with hanging. err, pretty scare, isn't it~?
Melbourne Museum - After visiting the Old Melbourne Goal, I went to the Melbourne museum. It's pretty large! I stayed there for 2 hours but I've finished half of the museum only! The most amazing part is the Forest Gallery, which is a place simulate the environment of a rain forest. Trees are very tall, you're just like walking inside a rain forest, because bird are flying around so close, the lizards will just walk on the path~ It's really a good experience! I'm going to the museum again take a look of the remaining sector~ Normal adult ticket for $6, and free for those with concession card. kaka
Grand Prix - 4 days of Grand Prix has finally finished. It was a really good experience that you would never forget! It's not just a car race, it's a carnival~ Many counters around and many people with special dressing for you to take photos~ There were not just race for Formula ONE but also Cleanevent Carrera Cup, V8 Supercars, Australian GT and Aussie Racing Cars. The time between different races there were Historic Demo., The Ultimate Speed Comparison ( Road car vs Super car vs F1), Navy Squirrel Helicopter Aerial Display and RAAF F/A-18 Jet Aerial Display. On Sunday afternoon there was even a Qantas 747 flying above the park!
For the race, the F1, of course, was the greatest one. The engine sound were just too loud that you can't imagine until you experience yourself! A pair of ear plug are almost a necessity! Many of the F1 picture I've taken were unclear because the F1 were too fast to be caught on a camera. Just seven drivers finished the 58 lap race, as what the official news explain, it's the most dramatic race in the event's history. Lewis Hamilton, my favorite driver because of his age, just 23 years old, finished the race in the first position~ Both drivers from Ferrari retired due the engine failure. Anyway, the race was just so great that you need to experience yourself, I'm out of word~ XD
The V8 supercars were also a great race, I love to see the flame coming out from the exhaust~! Aussie Racing cars are very cute because they are very small, I guess, 1/4 of normal car. But the race were much exciting because the difference between drivers were bloody small. The cars were just sticking together and formed a line in the corner when they turn! All first 6 drivers passed the finish line in 1.3 second. You can imagine how close they were.
After the last race has finished, the track, except the pit, was opened to the public. All people just rushed out to the track, tried to pick up some debris from the car crash, and to take photos on the F1 track~ I jump into the track too~! Took some photos and picked some stones and melted tire pieces. I then walked through many corners, the start and the finish line, the pit, some crash site. And at last I walked through half of the circuit and head to the exit.
That's AU$375. Some people, or may be many, think that it's not worth. I could watch the race on TV, I could watch the race with a General Admissions ticket instead of a Grandstand ticket with just AU$175. But I can tell you that it's different. I enjoyed the whole race, the 4 days race, it's a lifetime memory and experience, and I think it worth.
Last week for me to stay in Melbourne~ I've still got few place to go~ The Skydeck, Philip Island, the Aquarium~ I'll try to take more photo and I hope you can enjoy them with me~ :D
